हवेलियों वाला गाँव,बमनौली,बागपत. बचपन से हम राजा-रानियों की कहानी सुनते आए हैं। उनकी राजशाही किस्से कहानियाँ भी हमने कई बार किताबों में पढ़ा है। हममें से कई लोगों ने ऐतिहासिक भव्य महल-हवेलियों को भी देखा होगा। ऐसे ही उत्तर प्रदेश के बागपत जिले के बामनौली गांव की हवेलियों ने दूर-दराज तक अपनी छाप छोड़ रखी है। आमतौर पर लोग किसी के घर जाते हैं तो लोगों के नाम से पता पूछते हैं। लेकिन यहाँ तो लोग हवेलियों के नाम से लोगों का पता पूछते आते हैं। गाँव के लोगों की पहचान हवेली के नाम से होती है। लोग कहते हैं कि, इस गाँव की सबसे पहली हवेली 200 साल से अपने इतिहास को जिंदा रखे हुए है। अगर इन हवेलियों के बनने की बात करें तो सबसे पहले इस गांव के निवासी तोताराम ने हवेली का निर्माण करवाया था। तोताराम ने इस गांव में आठ हवेली और रामगढ़ में दो हवेली बनवाई थी। और, भरतपुर और बामनौली गाँव में भी व्यापार का काम शुरु करवाया। उस समय बामनौली तब व्यापार का बड़ा केंद्र (आज के समय में बड़ौत) रहा करता था। तब लोग राजस्थान, जिला-भरतपुर से बैलगाड़ियों द्वारा माल की आवाजाही होती थी। इस गाँव में ऐतिहासिक हवेलियाँ ही नहीं ऐतिहासिक मंदिर भी हैं। गांव के चारों ओर नागेश्वर मंदिर, बाबा सुरजन दास मंदिर, ठाकुर द्वारा मंदिर, शिव मंदिर, हनुमान मंदिर, बाबा काली सिंह मंदिर, दिगंबर जैन मंदिर, श्वेताम्बर स्थानक, शिव मंदिर, गुरू रविदास मंदिर, वाल्मीकि मंदिर भी मौजूद हैं। HAVELIYON WALA GAON - BAMNAULI,BAGHPAT. Totaram had built eight havelis in this village and two havelis in Ramgarh. And, also got business started in Bharatpur and Bamnauli villages. At that time Bamnauli used to be a big center of trade (Barot in today's time). Then people used to move goods by bullock carts from Rajasthan, District-Bharatpur. There are not only historical havelis but also historical temples in this village.
