नानक चंद एंग्लो संस्कृत स्कूल एवम् कॉलेज,मेरठ NANAK CHAND ANGLO SANSKRIT SCHOOL & COLLEGE,MEERUT. नानक चंद एंग्लो संस्कृत स्कूल की स्थापना वर्ष 1909 में और बाद में नानक चंद एंग्लो संस्कृत कॉलेज की स्थापना वर्ष 1952 में नानक चंद ट्रस्ट द्वारा की गई थी। नानक चंद ट्रस्ट की स्थापना 1903 में पंडित नानक चंद की श्रद्धेय स्मृति में की गई थी, जो एक ऋषि रूप और दूरदर्शी वाले व्यक्ती थे, जिन्हें ज्ञान, धन और राष्ट्र निर्माण के लिए प्रयास करने के दुर्लभ संयोजन के साथ उपहार दिया गया था। नानक चंद एंग्लो संस्कृत कॉलेज का नाम और प्रतीक - सत्यम शिवम और सुंदरम के साथ, भारतीय दर्शन में गहराई से निहित है, जो सभी संभावित दिशाओं में सकारात्मक विकास का पालन करने का प्रयास करता है। पंडित नानक चंद के पास एक सुनिर्देशित विकास में योगदान देने के लिए एक स्पष्ट योजना और एजेंडा था, जब उन्होंने 22 साल की उम्र में (1884 में) अपनी प्रारंभिक युवावस्था में अपनी वसीयत तैयार की, जिसमें 20 गांवों की जमीदारी वाली अपनी पूरी संपत्ति को गिरवी रखना था, और 103 भवनों और वाणिज्यिक प्रतिष्ठान का स्वामित्व। उनकी वसीयत के अनुसार, जिसने 1885 में कानूनी रूप ले लिया, इस संपत्ति से प्राप्त आय का एक चौथाई हिस्सा शारीरिक रूप से अक्षम, निराश्रित और भटकते भिक्षुओं की देखभाल के लिए सामान्य दान के लिए इस्तेमाल किया जाना था। अन्य एक-चौथाई का उपयोग असहाय विधवाओं और उन लोगों को संरक्षण देने के लिए किया जाना था जो आर्थिक अभाव में पड़ गए हैं और चुपचाप पीड़ित हैं। बाकी का आधा हिस्सा एक स्कूल चलाने के लिए था जहां अंग्रेजी, संस्कृत और हिंदी (तब नागरी के रूप में जाना जाता था) को सशक्त बनाने की शिक्षा दी जानी थी। उन्हें पूरा यकीन था कि समावेशी विकास के लिए बेसहारा लोगों की देखभाल करना और युवा शक्ति में बदलाव लाना पहली शर्त है। लोकतांत्रिक भारत द्वारा इस तरह की योजनाओं के आने से पहले ही उन्होंने ऐसा किया था। इस प्रकार इस संस्था की परिकल्पना और डिजाइन यूरोपीय और आधुनिक वैज्ञानिक ज्ञान और अत्यधिक समृद्ध भारतीय मूल्यों के बीच एक सेतु के रूप में काम करने के लिए की गई थी। NANAK CHAND ANGLO SANSKRIT SCHOOL & COLLEGE,MEERUT. Nanak Chand Anglo Sanskrit School was established in the year 1909 and later Nanak Chand Anglo Sanskrit College was established in the year 1952 by the Nanak Chand trust. Nanak Chand Trust was founded in 1903 in revered memory of Pandit Nanak Chand a sage and visionary, gifted with a rare combination of Wisdom, Wealth and Will to strive for nation-building. The very name of the institution and the emblem- with Stayam Shivam and Sundram, is deeply rooted in the Indian Philosophy endeavouring to follow a positive growth in all possible directions. Pandit Nanak Chand had a clear plan and agenda for contributing to a well-directed development, when he drafted his will in his early youth at the age of 22 years (in 1884) to pledge his entire property comprising of Zamidari of 20 villages, and ownership of 103 buildings and commercial establishment.As per his will, which took a legal shape in 1885, one fourth of the income derived from this property was to be used for general charity to look after physically challenged, destitute and wandering monks. Another one-fourth was to be used to patronize helpless widows and those who have fallen to financial deprivation and suffering silently. The rest half was meant for running a school where the education of empowering trilogy, English, Sanskrit and Hindi (then known as Nagri), was to be imparted. He was precisely sure that caring for unsheltered, and channdizing the youth power is the prerequisite for inclusive development. He did this even before democratic India would come with such plans.
