Salute on his 125th birth anniversary. Bismil and his comrade were both hanged on 19 December, 1927. He turned Bismil Azimabadi's iconic ghazal 'sarfaroshi ki tamanna' into an anthem of the freedom movement. Long live this glorious shared legacy of India's freedom movement!
