???? Established in 1948 by Shri Diwan Singh ji, this legacy was carried forward by his son Shri Jasbir Singh ji, and today, his three sons – Gurcharan Singh, Inder Pal Singh, and Harmeet Singh – are keeping the flavour and tradition alive.

मेरठ की गलियों में अगर कभी कुछ सादा लेकिन दिल से बना खाना खाने का मन हो, तो “पापा जी दा ढाबा” यानि पापा जी दाल वाले आपका स्वागत करने को हमेशा तैयार मिलेगा।
???? इस ढाबे की स्थापना 1948 में श्री दिवान सिंह जी ने की थी। फिर उनके बेटे श्री जसबीर सिंह जी ने इसे आगे बढ़ाया, और अब इस स्वाद की परंपरा को आगे बढ़ा रहे हैं उनके तीनों बेटे – श्री गुरचरण सिंह, इंदर पाल सिंह और हरमीत सिंह जी।
???? यहाँ की खास दाल इतनी लाजवाब है कि उसी के नाम पर यह ढाबा मशहूर हुआ – “पापा जी दाल वाले”। अमीर-ग़रीब, छोटा-बड़ा – हर तबके का इंसान यहाँ उँगलियाँ चाटते हुए नज़र आ जाता है।
