Today, on the occasion of Earth Day, Meerut College came alive in a way that felt both refreshing and deeply inspiring.
A Heritage & Nature Walk was organized within the historic campus — not just as an event, but as a reminder of how beautifully knowledge, nature, and history can coexist.
It was truly an honour for StudioDharma to be invited as a guest at this meaningful initiative.
The event was graced by Ms. Vandana Phogat ji, Divisional Forest Officer (IFS), Meerut, a dynamic personality whose deep interest in nature and heritage was clearly visible as she keenly observed and appreciated every aspect of the walk.
The vision behind this initiative was led by Shri Vivek Garg ji, Secretary, Meerut College, along with the guidance of Prof. Yudhvir Singh ji, Principal, Meerut College — a vision that reflects a perfect blend of awareness and cultural responsibility.
The walk itself was led by Shri Neeraj Kumar ji, Head of the Zoology Department, whose knowledge and insights added immense depth to the entire experience.
There is a saying — “Ghar ki murgi daal barabar.”
And somewhere, it felt true.
Walking through the corridors, exploring the museums, and observing the rich academic environment — it was surprising to realize that Meerut College holds everything that a prominent institution should offer, yet we often overlook what exists so close to us.
With its heritage, learned faculty, and inspiring atmosphere, Meerut College is not just an institution — it is an experience waiting to be rediscovered.
Truly, an enriching and memorable day.

आज पृथ्वी दिवस के अवसर पर मेरठ कॉलेज का परिसर एक अलग ही जीवंतता से भर उठा।
कॉलेज में आयोजित “Heritage & Nature Walk” केवल एक कार्यक्रम नहीं था, बल्कि यह एक ऐसा अनुभव था जिसमें ज्ञान, प्रकृति और इतिहास का अद्भुत संगम देखने को मिला।
स्टूडियोधर्मा के लिए इस आयोजन में अतिथि के रूप में शामिल होना वास्तव में एक सम्मान की बात रही।
इस कार्यक्रम की मुख्य अतिथि सुश्री वंदना फोगाट जी, डिविजनल फॉरेस्ट ऑफिसर (IFS), मेरठ रहीं। उनकी प्रकृति और विरासत के प्रति गहरी रुचि उस समय स्पष्ट दिखाई दी जब उन्होंने पूरे ध्यान से इस आयोजन का अवलोकन किया और इसकी सराहना की।
इस पहल का विज़न श्री विवेक गर्ग जी, सचिव, मेरठ कॉलेज का था, साथ ही प्रो. युधवीर सिंह जी, प्राचार्य, मेरठ कॉलेज का मार्गदर्शन इस आयोजन को सफल बनाने में महत्वपूर्ण रहा।
इस वॉक का नेतृत्व श्री नीरज कुमार जी, हेड, जूलॉजी विभाग ने किया, जिनके ज्ञान और अनुभव ने इस पूरे कार्यक्रम को और भी समृद्ध बना दिया।
कहते हैं — “घर की मुर्गी दाल बराबर।”
और यह बात यहाँ सच होती हुई महसूस हुई।
जब मैंने कॉलेज के गलियारों में चलकर, संग्रहालयों को देखा और पूरे परिसर को समझा, तो यह जानकर आश्चर्य हुआ कि मेरठ कॉलेज में वह सब कुछ है जो एक प्रतिष्ठित संस्थान में होना चाहिए — लेकिन हम अक्सर उसे नज़रअंदाज़ कर देते हैं।
अपनी विरासत, विद्वान फैकल्टी और प्रेरणादायक वातावरण के साथ, मेरठ कॉलेज केवल एक संस्थान नहीं, बल्कि एक अनुभव है जिसे फिर से महसूस करने की आवश्यकता है।
वास्तव में एक यादगार और समृद्ध अनुभव।
