Masonic Temple,Hope Lodge no 4, Established in 1833,commonly known as Masonic Lodge was a meeting place for families of British in India,Lodge Hope was prominently membered by English Army officers and the Asians were not permitted to join the Lodge.The famous Begum Samru of Sardhana contributed the funds towards its construction in celebration of the admission of her adopted son Captain Dyce Sumru in the Hope Lodge No 596.
