???? Tomb of Qazi Nurullah Shustari, Agra A Sacred Site of Martyrdom and Reverence. Known as Shahid-e-Salis (The Third Martyr), Qazi Nurullah Shustari (1549–1610) was a revered Shia scholar, jurist, and the Qazi-ul-Quzaa (Chief Justice) of Lahore and Agra under Mughal Emperor Akbar. His unwavering devotion to his beliefs ultimately led to his execution during the reign of Jahangir in Agra. ???? Martyrdom and Legacy He was martyred on 26 Rabi al-Awwal and initially buried in a garbage dump before his followers respectfully interred him and later built a tomb in his honor. Today, his mazar is known as Mazaar-e-Shaheed-e-Saalis. ???? Place of Pilgrimage Located in Agra, the tomb is a revered shrine visited by both Shia and Sunni Muslims, as well as people from all walks of life. Pilgrims offer prayers and seek blessings, and an annual religious congregation is held here to mark his martyrdom. ???? Managed with Devotion The tomb is administered under a waqf deed by the Nasirul Millat (Abaqati) family and is currently overseen by the Anjuman Moinuzzaireen.
