The City Palace of Alwar, also called Vinay Vilas Mahal, was built in 1793 CE by Raja Bakhtawar Singh and lies at the foothills of the Aravalli range. The site’s origins trace back to 928 CE, when the Parmar Rajput rulers laid its foundation.
