Tucked inside the bustling lanes of Hanuman Bazar, Agra, stands this grand and historic gateway — the entrance of Maharaja Agrasen Inter College, established in 1914. With domed chhatris on either side and intricate marble carvings above the arch, this building reflects the architectural aesthetics of early 20th-century northern India.
A unique mural above the gate shows Lord Krishna with two elephants, a motif symbolizing prosperity, divine protection, and community harmony — values that reflect the legacy of Maharaja Agrasen himself, the legendary king of Agroha and spiritual founder of the Agrawal community.
Despite being an active educational institution, this gate stands today not just as a portal to learning, but as a testament to Agra’s lesser-known architectural treasures.

भीड़भाड़ वाले हनुमान बाज़ार, आगरा की गलियों में स्थित है यह भव्य संगमरमर की इमारत — महाराजा अग्रसेन इंटर कॉलेज का ऐतिहासिक प्रवेश द्वार, जिसकी स्थापना 1914 में हुई थी।
इसके दोनों ओर की गुंबदनुमा छतरियाँ, मध्यवर्ती मेहराब पर बारीक नक्काशी और ऊपर बनी श्रीकृष्ण व दो हाथियों की चित्रकारी, उस दौर की कलात्मक दृष्टि और सांस्कृतिक आस्था को दर्शाते हैं।
