The Rangnath (Rangji) Temple, Vrindavan: A Historical Gem.
Constructed between 1845 and 1851 at a cost of ₹45 lakh, the Rangji Temple in Vrindavan was built by Seth Radha Krishna and Seth Govindadasa of Madras under the guidance of Sri Rangadeshik Swamiji . Modeled on the iconic Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple of Srirangam, it blends Dravidian and North Indian architectural styles, featuring eight gopurams and a towering gold-plated flagstaff .
Dedicated to Lord Ranganatha alongside Goddess Andal (Goda), this temple represents the divine marriage of Lord Vishnu and Andal, fulfilling her devotional desire through the deity known as Sri Goda‑Rangamannar . The annual Brahmotsav festival is marked by a grand procession featuring a 50‑foot wooden chariot, electric dioramas, firework displays, and communal celebrations combining North–South traditions .

1845 से 1851 के बीच ₹45 लाख की लागत से मद्रास (चेन्नई) के सेठ राधा कृष्ण व सेठ गोविंददास द्वारा श्री रंगदेशिक स्वामिजी के मार्गदर्शन में यह मंदिर निर्मित हुआ । श्री रंगम के प्रसिद्ध श्री रंगनाथस्वामी मंदिर की भव्यता से प्रेरित यह मंदिर द्रविड़ व उत्तरी भारतीय शैली का अनूठा सम्मिश्रण है, जिसमें आठ गोपुरम व एक सुनहरे ध्वजस्तंभ की विशिष्टता है ।
यह मन्दिर भगवान रङ्गनाथ व देवकन्या अण्डाल (गोदा) को अर्पित है, जिसमें गोदा की कृष्ण से कान्ताभिलाषा को श्री गोदा‑रङ्गमनार के रूप में पूर्ण माना जाता है । वार्षिक ब्रह्मोत्सव का आयोजन 50‑फीट लकड़ी की रथयात्रा, इलेक्ट्रिक दीओरामा, आतिशबाज़ी और उत्तर–दक्षिण भारतीय परंपराओं का समावेश करते हुए भव्य रूप से मनाया जाता है ।
