Jinns and the Taj Mahal: A Sacred Struggle .

Did you know the Taj Mahal’s foundations are said to have been laid not just with stone — but with sacred verses?
According to legend, jinns were preventing the construction of the Taj Mahal. To ward them off, Shah Jahan invited Sheikh Ahmad Bukhari from Bukhara. Along with his three brothers — Sheikh Jalal, Sheikh Amjad, and Sheikh Lal — he arrived in Agra and began a divine task.
Together, they recited verses from the Quran on each brick of the Taj Mahal, spiritually fortifying it. The brothers were later honored with shrines around the Taj — each guarding a different direction:

???? Sheikh Jalal Bukhari – West (his dargah still overlooks the monument)
???? Sheikh Lal Bukhari – South
???? Sheikh Amjad Bukhari – Balochpura
Sayyid Jalal Bukhari’s dargah, especially, remains popular among locals who feel his spiritual presence even today. His urs is celebrated on the same day as Shah Jahan’s death anniversary — as if history itself remembers their bond.
Taj Mahal is not just a marvel of architecture — it is also a shrine of prayers, devotion, and mystical blessings.
???? It wouldn’t be wrong to say that without these four brothers, the Taj Mahal might never have been built.

ताजमहल और सूफ़ी भाइयों की कहानी
क्या आप जानते हैं कि ताजमहल की नींव महज़ पत्थरों से नहीं, बल्कि कुरान की आयतों और दुआओं से रखी गई थी?
कहानी है कि जब ताजमहल बन रहा था, तब जिन्नात उसकी राह में बाधा बन रहे थे। तब मुग़ल बादशाह शाहजहाँ ने बुखारा से शेख अहमद बुखारी को बुलाया। वे अपने तीन भाइयों — शेख जलाल, शेख अमजद और शेख लाल बुखारी — के साथ आए।
इन चारों भाइयों ने ताजमहल की ईंटों पर कुरान की तिलावत की, ताकि इमारत को रूहानी ताकत मिले। उनकी इस सेवा को देखते हुए शाहजहाँ ने उन्हें ताजमहल के चारों कोनों पर दरगाहें देने का आदेश दिया:

???? शेख जलाल बुखारी – पश्चिम (इनकी दरगाह से ताजमहल का शानदार दृश्य दिखता है)
???? शेख लाल बुखारी – दक्षिण
???? शेख अमजद बुखारी – बलोचपुरा
आज भी सैयद जलाल बुखारी की दरगाह पर बड़ी संख्या में लोग हाजिरी देने आते हैं। उनका उर्स शाहजहाँ की बरसी के दिन ही मनाया जाता है — जैसे ताज और तिलावत का ये रिश्ता इतिहास में दर्ज हो गया हो।
ताजमहल सिर्फ एक इमारत नहीं, दुआओं और रूहानियत का प्रतीक भी है।
???? यह कहना गलत नहीं होगा कि अगर ये चारों भाई न होते, तो उस समय ताजमहल बन ही नहीं पाता।
