Sri Nangli Sahib, also known as Nangli Tirath, is one of the most revered spiritual sites of Meerut district, Uttar Pradesh. This sacred place houses the holy samadhi of Satguru Shri Swami Swarupanand Ji Maharaj, a towering spiritual figure of the Paramhans Advait Mat lineage.
Born as Shri Beli Ram Ji on 1 February 1884 in Teri (now in present-day Pakistan), he was initiated into sanyas by Shri Paramhans Swami Advaitanand Ji Maharaj, who later declared him his spiritual successor. Known among devotees as Nangli Niwasi Bhagwaan Ji, Hari Har Baba, and Sadhgurudev Ji, Swami Swarupanand Ji devoted his life to intense meditation, renunciation, and the dissemination of spiritual wisdom across northern India.
After years of deep tapasya, including prolonged meditation at Tapobhoomi in Agra, he eventually chose Nangli village near Meerut as his final abode. In April 1936, he attained samadhi here, fulfilling his own expressed wish to remain eternally at Shri Nangli Sahib. Today, the site stands as a living symbol of devotion, simplicity, and spiritual discipline.
The approach road to Nangli Tirath is marked by 84 turns, symbolising liberation from the cycle of eighty-four lakh yonis — a powerful spiritual metaphor deeply revered by followers. Even today, thousands of devotees visit the Tirath seeking inner peace and spiritual connection.

श्री नंगली साहिब, जिसे नंगली तीर्थ भी कहा जाता है, मेरठ जनपद का एक अत्यंत पवित्र आध्यात्मिक स्थल है। यहाँ सद्गुरु श्री स्वामी स्वरूपानंद जी महाराज की पावन समाधि स्थित है, जिनका जन्म 1 फरवरी 1884 को तेरि (अब पाकिस्तान) में हुआ था।
श्री परमहंस स्वामी अद्वैतानंद जी महाराज द्वारा सन्यास दीक्षा प्राप्त करने के बाद, स्वामी स्वरूपानंद जी ने कठोर तपस्या, ध्यान और साधना के माध्यम से आध्यात्मिक जीवन को समर्पित कर दिया। वे नंगली निवासी भगवान जी, हरि हर बाबा और सद्गुरुदेव जी के नाम से भी श्रद्धालुओं में पूजित रहे।
1936 में मेरठ के समीप नंगली ग्राम को उन्होंने अपनी अंतिम स्थली के रूप में चुना और यहीं समाधि ली। नंगली तीर्थ तक जाने वाले मार्ग के 84 मोड़, 84 लाख योनियों से मुक्ति के प्रतीक माने जाते हैं। आज भी यह स्थल श्रद्धा, शांति और आत्मिक साधना का केंद्र बना हुआ है।
