The Maharaja Bharat Shah Chhatri, constructed in 1642, stands as the tallest Bundela cenotaph with the largest dome, located beside Parmeshwar Pond in Chanderi, Madhya Pradesh.
Octagonal in plan, the sandstone walls crowned by a dome give it grandeur, while the eaves cleverly create the illusion of a two-storey structure. Every alternate face of the upper façade is relieved by a projecting balcony, adding elegance to its design.
This unique monument commemorates the cremation site of Maharaja Bharat Shah, yet today it lies in dire need of restoration to preserve its legacy for future generations.

महाराजा भरत शाह छत्री, जिसका निर्माण 1642 में हुआ था, बुंदेला स्मारकों में सबसे ऊँची और विशाल गुंबद वाली छत्री मानी जाती है। यह चन्देरी, मध्य प्रदेश में परमेश्वर तालाब के किनारे स्थित है।
यह आठकोणीय योजना पर आधारित बलुआ पत्थर की संरचना है। केवल एक मंज़िला होते हुए भी बाहरी छज्जे और बालकनियाँ इसे दो मंज़िला स्वरूप प्रदान करती हैं। छत्री का निर्माण महाराजा भारत शाह की चिता-स्थली पर उनकी स्मृति में किया गया था। आज यह धरोहर जीर्णोद्धार की प्रतीक्षा कर रही है।
